The physical and mathematical models described in the “Modern Exterior Ballistics” by Robert L. McCoy were verified. All the motion equations of projectile modelled as a stiff non-deformable body of six degrees of freedom were derived. The presented mathematical model takes into account the effect of the aerodynamic forces, i.e. air resistance, Magnus force, aerodynamic lift, the effect of moment, i.e. rolling moment, yawing moment, pitching moment, and the effect of the gravitational force. In the derived formulae also the change of air density and temperature was taken into consideration. The obtained mathematical model has proved to be correct. Therefore, it was utilised in the subroutine, which made it possible to simulate the motion of projectile as a stiff non-deformable body.
