If you want a guide to Marx's take on political economy then go no further.Choonara is able to explain to the non specialist reader all of Marx's main concepts found in Capital vol 1-3 in an extremly clear and comprehensive manner.As well as describing Marx's concepts Choonara demonstrates how they explain the present financial crisis facing capitalism.There are quite a lot of book on Marx's political economy but none that I have read come close to this one in terms of clarity and comprehensiveness.Choonara does in 150 pages what other authors fail to do in many more.It's a gem of a book and no doubt will become a classic in Marxian texts.
