Unquiet Worlds: Dalit Voices and Visions

Unquiet Worlds is a collection of essays. It speaks out against the silences imposed historically, socio-economically and politically on the Dalits. It brings to the fore their voices and visions, issues and struggles, and shares their achievements. Through a series of articles, it attempts to address questions of Dalit exclusion, their identity, their ambiguous and contradictory relationship with globalization and Hindu communalism and the assertion of their rights and dignity.
