Monograph, the 1st edition, Akadémiai Kiadó, Budapest, 1984, pg. 391
In this book transient behaviour in electrical machines, more specifically, problems of starting, hunting and switching in induction machines, short-circuit, hunting and excitation problems in synchronous machines, and finally, starting and hunting problems in d.c. machines. The vector method, the second appendix in the Hungarian edition has been used in Chapter 1 as part of a general theoretical introduction. This method, of general use in Central Europe. In addition, certain parts have be:en modified to bring the text into line with current methods. To facilitate programming work and to provide a better overview, the differential equation systems to be solved are followed by block diagrams showing the structure of the computer program.
