This research aims to contribute to the understanding of the performance spaces of São Paulo young intelligentsia, Estado Novo dictatorship times, by analyzing the trajectory of the "Group of Baruel", which was known for Baruel denomination by using the environment of a namesake drugstore as social space. Additionally, produces an analytical study of "Roteiro", the Group of Baruel's cultural journal.
