This guidance document is addressed to the experienced chemical analyst. Its objectives are to:
· specify the different physico-chemical and technical factors that allow for a correct
identification and an accurate quantification of target fragrance compounds, in various types
of cosmetic products,
· provide guidance to cosmetic manufacturers and control authorities regarding the analysis
of these target fragrance compounds in cosmetic products.
