Sub-Saharan African Films and Filmmakers, 1987-1992: An Annotated Bibliography

This is both an update and a supplementary volume to the author's highly acclaimed Sub-Saharan African Films and Filmmakers: An Annotated Bibliography published by Hans Zell Publishers in 1988 (0 905450 32 9; out of print). The new volume includes some 3,200 entries, most published since 1987, together with some entries from before 1987 not previously listed. The annotations are more detailed and the indexes more specific than in the previous volume. Over 200 periodicals have been scanned and, as in the previous volume, there are a substantial number of entries originally published in African newspapers, magazines, and journals, and unavailable in other indexes.
