The present volume is the outcome of the workshop meeting organized as a part of the project of the Polish National Science Centre titled 'History enclosed in clay. Geochemoarcheological indicators of Wielkopolska’s pottery from the younger Pre-Roman Iron Age as a source for discovering the cultural diversity', held at the Faculty of History of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, organized in close cooperation with the Faculty of Chemistry of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. The meeting was intended to be a continuation of the Berlin workshop titled 'Eisenzeitliche Siedlungskeramik der Przeworsk-Kultur' and, consequently, it was performed together with the Institut für Prähistorische Archäologie Freie Universität Berlin and the EXC TOPOI Berlin.
