I am sure that if any of the millions of practicing Satanists were to pick up this largely dismissive book that they would have a good chuckle and breathe a gigantic sigh of relief. These activities are not really rebellious adolescents or social theories of cultural unrest as this book implies. Librarians love this type of pro or con book on controversial subjects by a supposedly neutral stance author as a way to show that they are using public money for impartial “fair-minded” presentations of issues for classroom discussions. If you gauge the variety of views by a look at the table of contents you will see the wandering aimless bias. The same thing happens if you run through the bibliography. The author completely misses the point about the purpose of this “new religion” in society. It is a control mechanism used to blackmail high profile members not to step out of line, not some kooky social theory of “mass hysteria”. These are members of the control structure of society establishing a self-disciplinary grip via elaborate networks of child kidnappers protected from public exposure and prosecution. The subject of pedophilia is only broached in one chapter in the entire book. Satanist members go to great lengths, including murder, to silence those who are openly brazen in their “truther” revelations. Many public employees in the intelligence community are members and participate in cover-ups and the distribution of disinformation on this topic. Those officials involved are often the ones to investigate and give a “clean bill of health” to the press when needed. In the Johnny Gosch abduction, the FBI and police were part of the problem, not the solution, the foxes guarding the pedo henhouse. To the trafficking cartels missing children for Satanist ceremonies are just one product line of many―drugs, weapons, human organs, sex slaves, hitmen, and fixers,―run on a carefully planned and executed multibillion dollar global scale. In all fairness to the author, the best references for these newer revelations are books more recent than this early book and she would have had no way to reference them without issuing an updated edition.
