The essay observes that regional disparities in Ukraine, which exist across the country at macro level; in particular, they have influences on political, economic and social spheres. This report analyzes via the PESTL approach differences between Ukrainian regions and provides evidence of how disparities affect economic, social, and political spheres. The organization conducting the environmental appraisal is the Regional Development Department under the Ministry of Economy and European Integration of Ukraine.
