"Betrayal Of CPI towards Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and INA". Right from the inception of the Communist party in India, there has been much speculations and doubts on the role played by them during the freedom movement. They were never an integral part of the revolutionaries neither they were totally accepted by the masses. They were totally absent from the mainstream of any movement. The communists considered Gandhian philosophy as radical, never supported the strategy adopted by congress and were even apprehensive towards them, discarded them and very often supported the Britishers. During the Swadeshi movement when the whole country was boycotting British clothes these communists wore foreign garments claiming that the labourers of Lancashire will be unemployed and unconditionally advocated the British regime. Infrequently they betrayed the revolutionaries, patronised the British raj. Like their masters they also declared the” Revolutionaries as Terrorists”. They were the ones who once said about “Subhas Bose” being an “Anti-National and Quisling” .
