I had read this book a few months ago and put it aside. I recently had a Mom call to update a portrait of her and her 2 daughters as the oldest was going off to college. I went back to this book and review several techniques including some pose ideas. Well I am so glad I did, one of the posing ideas was the basis for a series we did with the Mom and daughters. All I can tell you is it worked $$$$. We also did some follow up images of the the girls together and individually. What has resulted from this book was the following a much larger portrait sale. 1. We looked at the posing ideas and talked about the relationship in the portraits 2. We had them dress according to the guidelines and kept it simple. 3. Like the cover image we went for the physical bond. 4. Conclusion, buy this book and read over it and then go back to before you have a similar session and do your normal stuff, BUT add 1 or 2 things from this book to try and increase your SALE.
