Jazz Improvisation

The material presented in this book covers a variety of musical and harmonic situations in which any soloist will be expected to improvise. Most of the theoretical explanations are accompanied by musical examples of their application. Each concept requires a substantial amount of practice to incorporate it into your playing. Ultimately music is sound not theory. The theoretical concepts are approached from the viewpoint of the performer and the easiest way to think and play at the same time.
