Proceedings of a Specialists' Meeting

This Specialists' Meeting on In-core Instrumentation and Reactor Core Assessment is the first in a series initiated by the NEA Committee on Reactor Physics and continued by the NEA Nuclear Science Committee.
The purpose of the meeting was to review the experience gained to date on measurement techniques and performance evaluation of nuclear reactor cores. Twenty-five papers were presented to fifty delegates who represented fifteen countries and international organizations. The meeting provided a forum for a great deal of fruitful discussion thanks to an even distribution of papers between instrumentation and methods of use, as well as a large number of participants from industry representing vendors, utilities and engineering companies.
The Conference was divided into four sessions.
