20 gold-gearing regions have been delineated in Kazakhstan. Following the adopted classification, 150 deposits have been described. Also given are the goid content in ores, ore quality, and the size of deposits. Potentials for new discoveries remain greatest in deposits (especially those still unworked) that require additional exploration and in new economic-genetic deposit types (weathering crusts with large gold reserves, for instance).
The reference book may be useful to the heads of local administration and geological organizations, as well as to businessmen interested in the development of local production infrastructure, including to economists, production geologists, research workers, teachers, students, and simply book lovers.
