About the author:
O.P. Ghai is the founder of Ghai Paediatrics and first published Ghai Essential Paediatrics in 1982. He held many prestigious positions in his life time, which includes being the President of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics and Dean of AIIMS, New Delhi and President of the International College of Paediatrics. Later publications are authored by Vinod K. Paul, who is the Head of the Department of Paediatrics at AIIMS and holds expertise in Neonatal care and guides the WHO Collaborating Centre for Training and Research in the same field. Arvind Bagga is also a co-author of the book, who is Head of Pediatric Nephrology at AIIMS and professor in the Department of Paediatrics. He is one of the founding members of the Indian Society of Pediatric Nephrology.
