I bought this book before moving to Spain to get a slight idea of places to go and things to do. After living here for just a few weeks, I began to find cases of misinformation in the book, particularly in the Madrid section. Entire neighborhoods are ignored, Metro stations are incorrectly named, and the included walking map doesn't even cover half of the worthwhile sites in the city. There are no "insider tips", but there is blatant misinformation. I don't expect miracles from a guidebook, but I would expect the authors to have done a bit of research, which they do not seem to have done. Don't waste your money.
