The purpose of this 1972 Handbook is to take the wealth of information accumulated by the Army over a period of years on the subject of hardening weapon systems against RF energy and to make this information available to the designer. Much of the data in this Handbook is in chart or table form for rapid retrieval. Although this Handbook was prepared for the designer of weapon systems it should also be of benefit to those engaged in designing test programs for determining the hardening of weapon systems.
