Democracy as Human Rights: Freedom and Equality in the Age of Globalization

Is global democracy possible? The most prominent institutional manifestations of this concept-the UN, WTO, IMF and World Bank-have been skewered as cloistered anti-democratic institutions by anti-globalization activists.
