As a general QoS resource I got it. Well, I was hoping to learn enough to pass the CCIE test and handle my daily design and troubleshooting issues - it offered more than that and amazingly took me back to 2001-2002 when this Author had the best ever CCNA book! 1- If you're going to take a CCIE lab test DO NOT FORGET to check out the CD of the book just to go through some technologies pushed back onto the CD! topics like CAR and Custom queuing are very well described but not in the book! - as a reader I'd be happy to pay $20 more and get them all of them printed out somewhere in the book.2- For some reasons (probably just to follow the 642-642 syllabus), Mr.Odom has decided to cover QoS on 29xx platforms. I was wondering if any organizations had ever used such weak access devices to implement complex QoS policies (except marking) and I wish he had covered 3550/3560/3750's instead. Still Cisco CCO is the ultimate resource for these guys.3- All other chapters are awesome, however you'd need to learn more on some topics like voice VLAN.HTH,
