This book comes with a CD in the back with lots of examples to learn from... at least it's supposed to. Actually you have to download the examples off the publisher's website (for an additional price, of course). As for teaching PHP and MySQL, it's not worth it. I followed the examples to the letter but couldn't get PHP to work with MySQL. (Couldn't even get them to talk to each other) If you're going to waste your money on this though, I *highly* recommend you order directly from the publisher, since it "seems" if you do, you might get the examples for free (maybe), but don't waste your money on this.
