This Guide is intended for the students who learn English as their second foreign language on the Pre-Intermediate level and it fully agrees with the requirements of the Standard Curriculum Second Foreign Language (English, German, French, Italian) and the latest Practical Course of the second foreign Language (basic module).
The Guide consists of 14 units which correspond to the 14 units of the New Headway Pre-Intermediate English Course (Oxford University Press, 2002). Each unit contains a set of lexical exercises aiming at building up and enriching the students’ vocabulary. Some exercises are of the vocabulary test format, which can be done both in the classroom and autonomously. The Key section is at the end of the Guide.
