Although Backup Exec 11 is now out, and the company I work for is using version 10, I found this book a good reference and a quick and easy read to get up to speed. The book contains: * A brief history of backups and the importance and reason behind them * A good overview of media rotation schemes. * A great resource on using some of the advanced database maintenance application for troubleshooting issues. Reader's looking for a hardcore exploration of the software will probably not find this book informative, however.
