London: Salamander Books, 1982. — 168 p. — ISBN 0861011511.
159 pages, smallish hardcover with color photo-illustrated endpapers, a color photo-illustrated frontispiece/title page and a lot of interior pictures/illustrations/couple tables (majority in color). "160 fact-packed pages. Full data on more than 40 warship types. Over 120 photographs, most in color, and finely detailed line drawings. Includes section on aircraft, weapons and sensors, and fleet organization details. A magnificently illustrated, compact directory of all the major ship classes serving in today's US Navy surface fleet." Excellent copy: covers a tiny bit rubbed, head/heel of spine have a tiny bit of bumping else the book is entirely as new with NO markings throughout. NOT an ex-library, NOT a book club, NOT a remainder. Fine, no dj issued.
