This book is the historical debate between famous Shia Scholar Sayyid ‘Abdul¬ Husayn Sharafuddin from Lebanon and Sheikh Salim al-Bishri the then head of Al-Azhar university of Cairo Egypt. The debate is in the form of 112 letters between these two scholars on the topic of Shia and Sunni. Sheikh Salim al-Bishri, himself a great Sunni scholar asked Sayyid Sharafuddin to prove authenticity of Shia religion. The debate is worth reading because of polite manners of exchange of views between two great scholars. The debate ends with acceptance of authenticity of Shia religion by Sheikh Salim al-Bishri.
