This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 9th Pacific Rim International Workshop on Multi-Agents, PRIMA 2006, held in Guilin, China, in August 2006 in conjunction with PRICAI 2006.
The 39 revised full papers and 57 revised short papers presented together with 4 invited talks were carefully reviewed and selected from 203 submissions. Many current subjects in multi-agent research and development are addressed, ranging from theoretical and methodological issues to various applications in different fields. The papers are organized in topical sections on agent models, agent architectures, agent-oriented software engineering, agent grid, semantic Web service, collaboration, coordination and negotiation, agent learning, P2P computing, and applications.
