Флора Европейской России включает два вида рода Neotorularia: N. contortuplicata (Steph.) Hedge et J. Leonard и N. rossica (O.E. Schulz) Hedge et J. Leonard. По морфологическим признакам плодоножки выделяются две группы видов, которые рассматриваются в качестве секций Neotorularia sect. nov. и Macropodae V.I. Dorof. sect. nov.
