《滇国与滇文化》内容简介：独具一格的滇国青铜文化，在世界古代青铜器发展史上，占有特殊的、不可取代的地位。它以丰富的内容、生动活泼的表现形式、精湛的铸造工艺和特特的民族风格著称，反映了云南少数民族物质文化和精神文化生活。到目前为止，云南各地出版的滇国青铜器共10000余件，90多种。通过这些青铜器的研究，特别是对那些雕铸在贮贝器、铜鼓、装饰品和铜房模型上众多的人物及动物图像，以及农作、放牧、狩猎、纺织、战争等活动场面作进一步的探讨，不仅能一窥昔日滇国的风采和再现历史画面，从中也可了解到滇国青铜器与中原地区的汉文化，以及中亚、南亚和东南亚地区古代文化的密切关系。《滇国与滇文化》的81张插图是云南省文物考古研究所白文祥同志绘制的，她本来有许多工作要做，但为此书能尽快出版，还是抽时间把所有的图绘完了。
