Przedświt: Mazowieckie Centrum Metalurgiczne z przełomu er = Daybreak: The Mazovian Centre of Metallurgy from the Turn of the Eras

Text in Polish and English. This exhibition, opened in October 2014, combines traditional display methods with state-of-the-art technology to create a narrative appreciable with all the senses. The setting is built around original artefacts from archaeological excavations in Mazovia. It is further enriched with filmed and drawn reconstructions, copies of artefacts which may be handled by the public, as well as various multimedia, games and puzzles for children. The combined content of the exhibition provides a compendium of knowledge about the Mazovian Centre of Metallurgy, which existed in Late Antiquity in western Mazovia; it presents an overview of the iron smelting industry in that era and the daily life at associated settlements, as well as the broader historical context of the MCM.
