She is a past President of the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses SocietyTM (WOCN(R)) and the National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (NPIAP(R)). She has authored numerous key publications and is a well-known lecturer in the areas of wound, ostomy and continence management, and professional practice for the WOC nurse.
