On Tuesday 16 January 1996 the author/publisher was ordered by UK Office of Fair Trading to stop advertising its baldness cures after failing to comply with an undertaking to the Advertising Standards Authority following objections to claims made in national newspaper advertisements. 'Tubb said mail-order sales of the $31 book have totalled about $1.6 million.'
