Palabras clave: Néstor Perlongher, Eva Perón, género, queer/ cuir ABSTRACT The present work poses a reading of the short story “Evita vive” of Néstor Perlongher in which, because of the desacralization and parody of the mystified figure of Eva Perón, it produces the claim of some cuir subjects generating in them an equal status, but keeping their peripheral and marginal situation in a context of sexual liberation during Argentina 1970s. The dialogue with Queer/Cuir Theory allows revelar the tensions of the short story around a hierarchical relationship among two kind of subjects: straights and cuir. However, according to this cuir lecture, Evita resuscitates as a drag subject, a cuir subject because she will be the symbolic bridge that reformulates that relationship dragging the marginality and sexual-gender dissidence of this characters as resistance against the heteronormativity of the official discourse.
